Three Academy students are 2024 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards national medal winners.
Lex Kelly ’24 received a silver medal for “Ungirlhood” in the personal essay category.
Camilla Lujan ’26 received a silver medal in ceramics and glass for her work titled “Eat Me.”
Jaelyn Yu ’25 received a silver medal in painting for her work titled “Still, I Feel The Same.”
National Medalist works of art and writing are included in the annual National Exhibition, and medalists are honored at a ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923. Click here to view a list of notable alumni.
